Tekashi 6ix9ine, the American rapper, was reportedly attacked and hospitalized on March 21, 2023, after he was ambushed at a gym in South Florida Source. His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that the “Gooba” rapper had been using the facility’s sauna when he was jumped.Lazzaro also said Tekashi, born Daniel Hernandez, did not have security with him at the time of the attack.
LA Fitness employees called police and emergency services, who transported the convicted felon to a nearby hospital to treat injuries to his jaw, ribs and back as well as cuts and bruises.

As reported by TMZ he was later on rushed to the hospital due to the severe injuries he had.

Lazzaro told the outlet he plans to call the Feds to get his client the security he needs, as Tekashi was granted early release from prison in 2020 for narcing on his fellow gang members who are now behind bars.This is only the latest trouble for the 26-year-old rapper, who Page Six exclusively reported was thrown out of a Miami restaurant in January for giving patrons free alcohol. More recently, he was kicked out of a baseball stadium for getting too drunk.Then, the actual footage emerged of 6ix9ine’s beatdown at the gym. Though known for his controversial antics, the video of Tekashi getting attacked at the Florida LA Fitness doesn’t seem staged. The pair of men punched and kicked him in the ribs and face. One of the individuals grabbed 6ix9ine by his weave, yelling, “Take a picture. I wanna be famous now, n***a,” as Tekashi struggled on the ground. At this point, it’s hard to say what prompted the attack on 6ix9ine at the LA Fitness but many believe it’s the result of trying to beef with anyone who will give him any attention like the time he shared his location hoping that someone would attach him.A few months before this incident he claimed to have been attacked at a nightclub in Dubai.
The person he claims attacked him, who was a DJ, did it because 6ix9ine was being termed as a snitch.
Due to his involvement in numerous scandals as well as being a convicted felon, people are concerned about how this will affect his career.
Although the matter is of concern most people are not worried and are seen to be making fun of his situation.
