Specifically, she discussed how her naked pictures being leaked by hackers in the 2014 4chan scandal was a trauma she can never overcome. In the interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence revealed that the pictures are readily accessible online without her consent, saying "Anybody can go look at my naked body without my consent, any time of the day. Somebody in France just published them. My trauma will exist forever." She also discussed how the engine failure incident during a flight in 2017 made her feel weaker, even though she still has to board flights despite finding it "horrific."
